There are few car share drivers in Wimberley. We suggest you schedule your trip leaving Lotus Ranch in advance. There are plenty of drivers at the airport so the way here is usually easy to get a ride. 

Our family homestead is a part of Lotus  Ranch. We have a herd of nubian milking goats that we manage holistically and milk everyday. We raise a flock of chickens for eggs and sometimes a flock of meat chickens too. We keep honey bees in naturally managed apiary.  Lotus Ranch also has a food forest and organic gardens. Guest are welcome to enjoy these spaces while visiting Lotus Ranch (the bees from a safe distance of course). For their group retreat host can book farm tours, hands on milking lesson or demo, hikes ect. with us. 

We usually book 6-12 months in advance. We do sometimes have random open dates or cancellations and can fit your event in with shorter notice. The sooner you book and secure your date the more flexibility you have in picking a date.

No, We do not provide meals. We have a commercial kitchen that can accommodate cooking for large or small groups. It is up to each group to book its own chef or cook its own meals. We can provide a list of recommended retreat chefs that have cooked at our retreat center if needed.

No, : Service animals are the only exception to our no pets policy.  “Service animal” in this context means a canine that is specially trained or equipped to help a person with a disability. An animal that provides only comfort or emotional support to a person is not a service animal. Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform.

Lodge Minimum – 2 nights and 15 people (includes free complimentary use of the Yoga Hall)

Lodge – $75/night per person twin bed

Honey Suite – $90/night per person 1 full & 1 twin (does not count towards 15 person lodge minimum)

Tiny House – $90/night per person 3 twins (does not count towards 15 person lodge minimum)

Camper – $35/night per person   primitive camp site

RV- $45/ night per person with electric hook up (Please check for availability before event – spots limited)

+Cleaning/ supply fee – $250

+Hotel Tax – 6%

$800 to secure a date and a credit card on file during the event

Lotus Ranch Retreat Center rents its facility out to retreat leaders and organizers. Check our “events” to see if we have any retreats or events that are open to the public. If you want to organize a retreat for a group, organization, business, or even just a group of friends or family Lotus Ranch Retreat Center is the place. The minimum includes up to 15 people.

We provide sheets and towels if you are staying in any of our indoor accommodations. If you are camping, towels and bedding are not provided.

We provide yoga mats, blocks, straps, meditation cushions, and blankets at no additional charge. We have a variety of A/V equipment on site to accommodate any typical presentation. (projector, speakers, microphone) We have tables and chairs to accommodate up to 100 people. All equipment used should be returned to storage. More specialized equipment should be rented in advance.

No, while we love nature and plants, we do not host these types of groups.

We host retreats most weekends and give tours Mon-Wed, 12:30-6pm to give groups privacy. 

We are about 50 min from both Austin and San Antonio airports.

1. Lotus Ranch has 2 miles of trails that can be found on this map.
2. Lotus Ranch Features a fire pit circle, walking labyrinth, and cowboy dipping pool.
3. Spa Deck with cedar barrel hot tub, cold plunge, and Sauna.
4. Organic farm and garden. Goats, chickens, bees, food forest, and garden. Guided tours and classes are an excellent add-on, available for your weekend.

Visitors should plan on bringing a swimsuit and extra towel, if they plan on using our cold plunge, hot tub, sauna or cowboy pool.

Guests will also want to have a sun hat, natural sun screen and natural bug repellent. Closed toe shoes are suggested for hiking our trails or visiting the farm animals.

We provide a towel and wash cloth with each reserved bed. We also provide Puracy Shampoo and bodywash.

Our Facility has been cleaned with non-toxic Thieves Cleaner, along with all natural products like vinegar and baking soda, since 2016. We use cedar oil and other strong essential oils for pest management, keeping in-line with our organic farming ethics.

Our laundry is done without fragrances, choosing Eco-detergents that do not leach chemicals such as PFAs into our environment.

Lotus Ranch does have WIFI in the lounge located at the front of the Yoga Studio. We intentionally do not have internet in the lodge, so that guests can detox from their phone behaviors and sleep peacefully. We suggests guests make the most of their weekend and have their phone in airplane mode.

As we keep our facilities running, we select appliances that do not emit an extra Radio Frequency or Electromagnetic Field. Our electrical system is not pulsing with interference from Smart Meter Monitoring, and we have scanned each bed with a Tri-field Meter to ensure a zero-ed out sleeping experience. We are likely an excellent match for sensitive folks.
